ASG is currently seeking candidates for field sales opportunities who love competition, crave success, believe in the solutions they sell, know their customers, and make sure they know you! At ASG you’ll be able to provide your customers with a wide portfolio of technologies including Cloud, Application, Infrastructure and Operations, and Data/Information Management solutions.

Responsible for generating revenue within a software company by closing sales. Sells products and services directly to end users primarily via face-to-face contact. Establish new clients through leads generation and maintains relationship with existing clients. Operates under general supervision. Job typically requires some travel.

  • Performs sales activities for an assigned geographic area or product/service line to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.

  • Cold call new clients to introduce ASG and product offering.

  • Visits prospective customers to determine needs.

  • Creates and performs sales presentations to match company´s products/services with identified needs.

  • Sells products/services through face-to-face contact.

  • Remains knowledgeable of company´s products/services to facilitate sales efforts.

  • Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required.

  • Maintains regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction.

  • Maintains a regular schedule of contact via phone/on-site visits.

  • Alerts client to new or improved products/services.

  • Develops relationships with client through dinners, outings, etc.

  • Relays client feedback to product development staff.


Equipment and Applications
PCs and various software applications. Heavy telephone usage.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
General office environment. Some levels of stress may occur at times. Some travel within assigned territory required.

Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor´s degree or equivalent training in business or sales management. Usually requires over two to five years of sales experience.

  • Good knowledge of company´s products/services and pricing practices.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Professional appearance and presentation required.

  • Must be proficient in MS Office.
