Digital Retail Sales Executive

The Digital Retail Sales Executive is responsible for advertising sales of retail online products at the Green Bay Gannett Wisconsin Media site.He/she develops strategies to meet advertising and marketing needs of existing and new clients, works with newspaper staff to package digital into print advertising campaigns and develops independent digital advertising business. He/she will meet sales goals and related deadlines.  Primary responsibilities include:

Plan, create and present digital advertising solutions independently and in conjunction with other products/sales representatives at the Green Bay Gannett Wisconsin Media site.

Monitor market conditions and develop strategic plans to gain and maintain business.

Conduct training programs for sales staffers and educational/sales seminars for customers.

Develop new business in digital advertising categories, including making cold calls, needs assessments, presentation and retention calls to potential clients.

React to change proactively and performs all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications include:

A bachelor's degree in sales/marketing or equivalent experience is required. 

A proven track record of consistent sales success.

Strong negotiation skills

Strong knowledge for social media and be web savvy

Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to build relationships

Strong organizational and time management skills required as well as excellent presentation, problem solving and customer service skills

Excellent computer skills

Digital and media sales experience is preferred
