The Digital Account Manager will work with an assigned group of sales reps and their accounts to ‘Grow the Business’ – with a primary the focus on up selling, retention, and renewals.  They will be responsible for the day-to-day campaign aspects of accounts and act as the initial point of contact.  The Account Manager will be proactive in reaching out to clients to update them with either positive or negative campaign performance, work alongside sales reps to assist with any marketing objectives, and look at campaign performance and make recommendations to clients. This position will require subject-matter expertise and will pose a constant challenge to the individual to stay ahead of changes and improvements to industry-related topics as well as applicable internal and external products used by the organization and competitors.

Successful candidates will be able to react to change productively, have proven organizational and communication skills, and superb attention to detail. Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of customer service experience, general office experience, and proven project management experience on high priority initiatives. 

Job Requirements


Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum of 1-3 years Account Management or Sales Experience. Experience with Digital Account Management or Sales is preferred.

Must demonstrate strong business and marketing acumen as well as critical thinking skills to consult to clients effectively.

Must demonstrate record of success in goal oriented, highly accountable environment.

Must demonstrate proficiencies in online industry aptitude, terminology, and general Search Engine Marketing or Search Engine Optimization best practices as fundamentals for effective account management

Proven experience selling business services – primarily online marketing including search engine marketing, search engine optimization and lead generation

Previous Google certification strongly preferred

Must exhibit strong practical understanding of multi-media & online marketing related products

Experience with or other enterprise CRM system strongly preferred

Must exhibit adequacies in target verticals and be expected to contribute to core knowledge of vertical intelligence

Excellent relationship building skills

Ability to manage multiple accounts/sales representatives at one time
