Star Media, a Gannett Company, has an opportunity for an experienced, results-oriented Associate Sales Manager – Call Center. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing  high performance , local-accounts inside sales team dedicated to providing comprehensive media solutions to various business segments, including, but not limited to employment, real estate, legal, obituary, commercial and private party advertising.


In addition, the Associate Sales Manager – Called Center will attain results by ensuring that the business unit meets and/or exceeds revenue expectations, develops and executes a clear Sales Planning strategy, and provides leadership that is positive and encouraging to the vision and goals of the organization.

 Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience and/or training

3-5 years Sales Management experience

Proven record of successfully leading in a goal-oriented, highly accountable environment

Ability to build and manage a B2B sales organization

Ability to maintain a deep and broad understanding of the market (customers, prospects, key trends)

Possess an understanding of competitive media in the market

Strong communication, sales, negotiation and influencing skills (both written and oral)

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
