Account Relationship Specialist

 

Description

Provides customer service and support for advertising customers in collaboration with Account Executives to meet revenue goals and increase advertiser satisfaction with service and results.  Processes transactions and performs day-to-day maintenance of customer accounts, including conducting follow-up with customers on a regular basis and across all platforms.  Measures, monitors and builds customer relationships via phone and occasionally in person with Account Executives on sales calls. Collaborates with Account Executives on marketing opportunities and new products/programs.  Works closely with customers and team to facilitate proposals, correspondence, resolution of customer issues and to schedule appointments.  Work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.  

Requirements

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to interact with the public and staff.  Must be able to work independently and in a team, multi-tasking while under pressure and tight deadlines. Requires problem-solving and analytical abilities, as well as ability to perform mathematical functions.  Excellent organizational and time management skills required. Computer skills with working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet and database applications required.  High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business or marketing preferred. Prior sales experience desired.
