Snowy Get-A-Ways:

Snowbird Ski Resort
Near Salt Lake City, Utah

Snowbird is one of the best resorts in Utah — and for my family, one of the best in the country! We’ve had season passes to the slopes for years, and we’ve found activities for everyone in the family. Ski and snowboard lessons are available for beginners ages 3 to adult, but that’s not all you’ll find at this vacation hot spot. If you’re like me, you may not want to head up the mountain every day (or any day for that matter), but that’s alright! Beyond the 10 lifts and numerous courses, Snowbird also offers ice skating, snowshoeing, tubing and luge sleds. And, of course, the spa helps moms and dads relax.

Four Seasons Jackson Hole
Jackson Hole, Wyoming

This five-star hotel has accommodations for parents and kids alike. Just miles away from national parks, Jackson Hole has much more than just skiing available. For the youngsters, the resort is equipped with its own kids’ camp, ski concierge and s’more roasting. And, mom and dad can hit the slopes, the spa or both while the kids are entertained.
