More than just newspapers
Get excited about this year’s WCAA Conference! You will learn tons and have the time of your life!

We know the WCAA Conference, “It’s Showtime,” will be the highlight of your trip to Las Vegas this September, what with learning some great new ways to build revenue for your paper and seeing some awesome products from vendors.

However, you may have some down time — although we wouldn’t be offended if you wanted to spend ALL of your time with us — so here are some great ways to eat, drink and be merry while visiting sin city!

Everyone knows about the opulence in Las Vegas, so visit some of the city’s legendary hotels like Caesar’s Palace, the Bellagio and the designated conference hotel, The Paris. Each has its own brand of over-the-top wonder that will keep you with your eyes open and jaw dropped.

Although nestled in the desert, don’t think you can’t find the most succulent treats and tasty dishes in Las Vegas. Known for its buffets and five star restaurants, you would definitely get your money’s worth visiting places like Craft Steak from the famous Chef Tom Colicchio, the head judge on TV’s “Top Chef.” You could also visit Nobu Hotel, with food from Chef Nobu Matuhisa. Don’t forget In-N-Out; although not a high dollar destination, a Double-Double Animal-Style is irresistible.

If you find yourself with a desire for more entertainment, you would be remiss to ignore the constant schedule of shows that Las Vegas has to offer. Between Sept. 20 and the 26, there are numerous shows happening including Cirque Du Soleil, David Copperfield and the Blue Man Group. Of course, these examples are just a fraction of the full schedule, so go to Vegas.com to learn more.
